Exclusive helicopter service from SDRF Helipad, Dehradun (near Jolly Grant Airport) to the Do Dham shrines and back.
The Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand is one of the most sacred pilgrimages in Hindu culture. However, many devotees find it challenging to complete all four dham’s due to time constraints, physical limitations, or the difficult mountain terrain. This is where the Two Dham Yatra by MI-17 helicopter becomes an excellent option. This journey allows pilgrims to visit two of the four sacred shrines comfortably and quickly, making the spiritual experience accessible to everyone.
The Two Dham Yatra means visiting any two holy shrines from the four sacred temples located in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand. The four dham’s are Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. When traveling by helicopter, the most popular combination is Kedarnath and Badrinath, as these two temples hold immense spiritual importance and are considered the most significant among the four dhams.
This helicopter journey transforms what would normally take several days of difficult trekking and long road travel into a comfortable two to three-day pilgrimage. It saves time, reduces physical strain, and allows elderly devotees and those with health concerns to complete this sacred journey without worry.
Kedarnath and Badrinath: Kedarnath is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, while Badrinath is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. They represent the two major aspects of Hindu spirituality. The helicopter route connects both temples efficiently, making this the ideal two-dham package.
